The College Student Connection to Real Life Financial Education!
As a first-generation, low-income college student, Sunny is passionate about helping students learn to take control of their money. Since 2020, she has had the opportunity to serve the scholars of the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program at several colleges and universities, across the country, offering virtual workshops and 1:1 coaching sessions for students.
The virtual sessions are designed to deliver practical knowledge that can be applied for immediate use by students and staff and helps students gain the money management skills needed for life in graduate school and beyond. These sessions range from 60-90 minutes and break down the complicated world of finance into short mini-lessons.
